Special news ! New P&O Ferries discount
Following a rise in the price of Stena sailings, John Bouwhuis, our overseas
contact, has approached P&O Ferries at Calais and negotiated a special
price for West Kent Run entrants. The special price is for 5 day return
tickets on the Calais to Dover route. This year, at last, everyone can pay
the same tariff.
For commercial reasons we are not allowed to publish the tariff on the website.
Special fares are available for cars, vans and motorcycles with, or without, trailers and caravans.

Norfolk line operate a service from Dunkerque to Dover at very good prices. Check their website for the tariff www.norfolkline.com The service takes 2 hours from Dunkerque to Dover. Aylesford is only 45 minutes from Dover. There has never been a better time to join the West Kent Run !

I am always trying to save time and money and, to save on postage and on sending out emails, there is a page showing entries received so far. If your name is on it I have, obviously, received your entry. Please use the website and email for communication where possible.
We have received several entries from the BMW Mono Club in the Netherlands. They will be joining us in force this summer. Many people do not realise that, alongside their big boxer twins there was also a range of single cylinder lightweights. Several of these 250cc machines will be with us in August. Many of the riders have entered in previous years but several Club members will join us for the first time and we look forward to welcoming them.
Send us a photo for the website
Several riders have now sent me a photo of their bike to include on the website. They have been linked from the list of entrants. If you have a photo you would like me to add I shall be very happy to receive it. You can send it by post or by email.
If you have visited the West Kent Run and enjoyed it, you must know someone else who would enjoy it too. Print off a form for them and help to spread the news about the event. You know that the event attracts regular riders year after year but there is always space for new friends to join in. We have more than 20 new riders who will join us this year.
If you have suggestion for events or features - riding or social - that you would like us to consider, to add to the programme, please let us know. Your feedback is important to us in trying to create a weekend everyone can enjoy.
