22nd International West Kent Run
August Update (1.8.06)
(Archive of past Updates)

The entry list is full to overflowing.  We set ourselves a limit of 350 riders but, this year, there are 407 entries - I cannot take anymore!

Thank you to everyone who has entered.  We wish you a safe journey to The Friars and hope you have an excellent weekend with us. The weather has been unbearably hot but looks set to cool down a little - let's hope it does not rain.

I shall update this page after the event.  If you have suggestion for events or features - riding or social - that you would like us to consider, to add to the programme, please let us know.  Your feedback is important to us in trying to create a weekend that offers value for money and that everyone can enjoy.

Dogs - a reminder

The Friars have a policy that forbids dogs from the Friars.  It is due to the fact that many of their weekend events attract, literally, thousands of people (worshippers and pilgrims for example) and, in the past, dogs have caused problems.  The decision was taken, therefore, to prohibit dogs entirely from all events and it is something we have to abide by.

Best wishes Alan Abrahams and the West Kent Run Committee
