Entries overview
We have over 330 entries processed. Late entries, including my own, will bring the total to 350 again this year
We shall welcome more than 45 first-time riders.
This year is the centenary of the Douglas and the London Douglas Club is making a big effort to get a lot of bikes entered for the Run.
We shall welcome Spanish riders for the first time in more than 15 years. We also welcome Stan Smith from the USA and Paul and David Kilminster from Guernsey in their first appearance in many years.
No more rooms available.
PLEASE NOTE - there are no more rooms available at the Friars. Every room is booked.
Website
Thank you to all of you who check the website from time to time. The statistics show that we have had an average of over 2500 visitors to the site each month.
I have now got the entries list up to date but have still not had the time to add all the photos that I have been sent. I'll still intend to make an effort to find the time to scan them, crop them and load them onto the site.
The riders final instructions will be posted on the website by the beginning of July. I shall also post the list of riders' numbers. We have at least one bike for every year from 1920 to 1982 with the exception of 1932, 1941 and 1945. We also have bikes from 1912. 1913, 1914 and 1916. That is a fantastic spread of machinery.
Best wishes
Alan Abrahams
