25th International West Kent Run
February Update (2nd February 2009)
(Archive of past Updates)
The 2009 tariff is now set. There has been a small increase in the price of rooms at The Friars but, otherwise, prices remain the same as last year.
Download an entry form now.
Rider details are now being added to the website. See the link from the homepage. At this moment we have already received over 60 entries - many of them from first-time visitors.
It looks as though there may be a big turn-out from the BMW Mono Club in Holland. I have also sent out invitations to numerous French and Belgian Clubs.
I am trying to make sure that every entrant receives a postcard to confirm their entry.
Many bedrooms have already been reserved. In August 2008 we booked every room. There are just 65 rooms. If you want a room for 2009 book now.
The lunch stop this year will be at the Bredgar and Wormshill Railway. This is a privately owned narrow-gauge railway. There are lots of interesting things to see on the railway and in the museum.
We are hoping to see the widest range of veteran, vintage and classic machines this year and would like to encourage you to think carefully about your choice of machine. Surprise us ! Three-wheeled cars would be very welcome too.
Best Wishes from Alan Abrahams and the West Kent Run Committee.
