Bookings are already flooding in and we have several overseas entries already.
Overseas visitors
The pound is at its weakest value EVER against the euro ! This year
is the year to come and join us.
Entry fees have now been set. We are pleased to be able to tell you that we have not increased the rider's or passenger's entry fee. There has been a small rise in the price of a room and a small rise in the price of the food for Friday and Saturday night (both optional costs) Print off a form now from the website. Printed forms will be posted out in the next 2 weeks (I hope !)
Now is the time to tell your friends about the West Kent Run. Most of our riders are old friends who come every year, but we always welcome new faces. I have just had contact with a Club in Finland and extended a welcome to them. It is a long way for them to come but we can remain hopeful. I am also hoping that we may be able to persuade our friends in Hungary to join us this year.
The price of a single room will be £17 and the price of a double room rises to £30. Both prices still represent good value for money.
You may remember seeing the 'monkey bikes' that visited the Friars for the Sunday show last year. We hope to have a similar 'ride-in' of vintage bicycles this year. A number of riders will be having their annual get together locally and hope to ride to the Friars and put their bikes on display for us.
