To take place at The Friars at Aylesford (map reference: Ordnance Survey 1:50000 sheet 188 TQ726589). The Friars is situated to the west of Aylesford village two miles north west of Maidstone. Maidstone is 40 miles from Dover.
The West Kent Run aims to be the best International historic motorcycle event on the VMCC calendar. You are offered an extended weekend programme of riding and social events with enthusiasts from across Europe. The weekend centres around the 100 mile West Kent Run, along Kent’s most scenic roads, with a coffee and lunch stop. Additional social runs are offered on Thursday evening, Friday and Monday. Evening social events, including dancing and live music are offered on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Eligibility: Entries are invited from members of the VMCC, affiliated and invited Clubs riding two or three wheeled vehicles that are more than 25 years old.
Important notes: Under the “Motor Vehicles (Compulsory Insurance) Regulations 2000” you are required to ensure that every machine used on the road or any other public place must be insured. This means that any machine ridden at any time, in any place, during the course of the weekend must be insured even if it only ridden across the field to put it on display. Please be sure you understand and comply with this regulation.
Children
are welcome at the West Kent Run but must not be allowed to ride any machines at
any time or in any place. We also ask that you do not run or ride your machine
unnecessarily around the site.
We regret that dogs are not permitted at The Friars
Entry limit: Entries will be limited to 350. In 2010 the entry list was filled by early April. Book early.

An extra charge is made for food at the barbecue (Thursday) for those wishing to eat.
The cost of lunch on the social runs on Friday and Monday is not included.

Accommodation: Camping is priced per person / per night. See entry form. Toilets and showers are available for campers.
Single-bed rooms and two-bed rooms are available and the cost is shown on the entry form. Each room has a wash basin. Toilets and showers are available close by. Bedding is provided in all rooms. Smoking in the rooms is strictly prohibited. Breakfast will be available each morning.
Saturday evening buffet: There will be a buffet meal on Saturday evening. This will be prepared by the staff at the Friars and served in the marquee. The meal costs per person is shown on the entry form and must be reserved in advance. Tickets will be included with your final instructions and will be sent to you through the post. Please do not forget to bring your tickets with you.
Breakfast: Breakfast will be available in the Pilgrim's Hall each morning.
Route: The West Kent Run is a 100 mile non-competitive social run. Riders leave the start from 09.00 in small groups and ride at their own pace. The oldest machines start first. The route will be marked with arrows along its full length. All riders also have a route sheet. There is a short (70 mile), flat route for older and slower machines. There will be a coffee and a lunch stop en route and riders take tea upon their return. The entry fee covers the cost of coffee, lunch and tea.
Dogs: We regret that dogs are not permitted on any part of the premises at The Friars.
