The 1914 500cc three speed Sunbeam that Alan Abrahams rode in the Run. It was kindly loaned by Tony Cowley. It may be almost 100 years old but it is the easiest thing to ride. The engine starts easily and revs willingly. The handling is predictable and the acceleration is quite lively. It ran all day in 2nd & 3rd gear because I couldn't get it to go into neutral or 1st. Naturally it does not have much in the braking department. |

Tony Cowley's other mount. This is the 1914 500cc New Hudson v-twin Touring that he rode in the Run. He says it is much harder to ride than the Sunbeam. |

This is the gloriously original 1936 986cc BSA G14 that was ridden by Gilbert Bredimus. Gilbert is our first ever rider from Luxembourg.. |

Another rarity in the 'Avenue of Clubs' was this fully-faired water-cooled Gilera 125CX. It has never been registered. |

A 1929 model A1 James 500cc OHV v-twin. It was the top of the range model and came with a 4 speed gearbox. It has been beautifully rebuilt and restored and was in the 'Avenue of clubs' with the Sunbeam Club. |
